Brian Milder, Co-founder. Brian is a creative strategist with a proven 16-year track record of building successful businesses and infusing companies with the tools required for growth. Not just a writer or “marketing guy”, Brian is an entrepreneur with a wealth of business management, operations, sales, and business development experience, augmented by a background in writing and law. Brian’s unique contributions to his clients include defining highly successful brand and marketing strategies, engineering effective business processes, and creating compelling sales and marketing documents that demand attention and win business. He has total dedication to a collaborative, creative and effective process that is centered on offering pragmatic and efficient services that focus exclusively on each client’s specific needs and business reality. Put plainly, Brian will roll up his sleeves and fully engage in delivering the needed services to help his clients succeed. Brian has written hundreds of proposals, presentations and marketing documents over the course of co-founding and running three successful companies and fulfilling operational, business development, sales, and strategic leadership roles in a public company. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
Bill Winn, Co-founder. Bill brings almost 20 years of diverse experience in sales and marketing, project management and operations management. Regardless of the roles he’s filled, business communications are a core talent upon which he’s built his career. He has consistently used these communication skills in both direct and subtle ways to build brands, reach customers and motivate people to action. He managed a team that generated over 500 proposals and presentations, worth almost $500 million per year. He has negotiated teaming agreements, created marketing databases, written Sarbanes-Oxley-compliant business processes, crafted press releases and published articles in industry periodicals. In addition, he possesses an array of abilities that help Kinetic’s clients elevate best practices from drawing-board ideas to operational reality, including organizing and leading teams; designing, mapping and optimizing business processes; developing and implementing tools and systems; and applying strategic insight and critical thought. Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and has completed post-graduate coursework in journalism and project management.
